Phantom of the Opera!!!

For Chirstmas my inlaws bought me and Chuck tickets to the Phantom of the Opera, so to my suprise it was also the day before our 4 year wedding anniversary. It was so much fun, we left Wednesday night, had a tastey Prime Rib from Outback for dinner and went to our Penthouse hotel and got dressed up to go out and see the Opera. It was awesome. I loved it and to my suprise Chuck loved it too. Not as much as I did, I would sit there and sing along to the songs. (I know what a nerd huh???) But it was so beautiful and they did such a great job and the effects were awsome. You wander how they would make a stage be on water, well they made it happen and it looked like a boat was moving on water. I had so much fun.

Then the next day when we woke up and came home, we got to see our kids yet we were completely board out of our minds. I mopped the floor and cleaned a bit, but only cause I was procrastinating so much and it had to be done, but I was so tired and groggy. Me and Chuck wanted to do nothing, just sit around. And I think it made us feel even worse. This morning I woke up and when I came to work, I wished I had a bed so I could just cuddle up and fall back asleep, Chuck said that his back hurt and he had a headache. I dont know whats wrong with us. I just know I never want to do "nothing" again!!!

I love to see the temple!

Yesturday I gave a lesson on preparing to go to the Temple to my young womens class. It was so great to tell them how special it really is and what a privledge it is to become worthy enough to go into such a beautiful and peaceful place. I am so greatful for this gospil and all that it does for us. I told them a story about Bailey when my parents to her and Peyton outside the temple one day, as they pulled into the parking lot, Bailey yelled out on the top of her lungs and said Look its a castle!!! Yes she is my Princess! I think it was the best lesson ever. Everyone was so reverent and I know they all want to go to the temple one day. I love those girls.

I did it!!!

I chopped my hair and I love it!!! No more swetting to death under a blow dryer for ever, nope now its just for about 5 minutes and poof its done!!! I am so happy. I was a little freaked out at first cause the hair dresser was 20 years old and had been doing hair for 2 years and it was her back up... but she did a great job and it was actually a missionary moment, she asked what church I went to cause I had told her that Chuck took our kids to a church camp out last night, so I told her that I was Mormon and she said that she was very intrested in different churches. She said that right now she attends to big valley but she really doesnt belong to any church. I told her that I was a convert and that I loved our church. But I really didnt say much, but I really wish I did. Well anyways, I'll talk to ya later ya'll!!!

My day at work.

Today at work started out great, I left my house in such a great mood knowing that I had cought myself up the day before. This morning went nice and slow, I even had an employee BBQ that served steak for lunch, I love steak. Then at around 2:00pm, it was as if the city of Modesto was being admitted to Memorial Hospital and no where else. So I had gotten phone call after phone call and was going out of my mind. The doctors were getting stressed and I was getting even more stressed. Finally after having to admit 21 patients to the Hospitalist, the clock hit 5:30pm, my day was over for work and my day just begun for my family. I am so glad to be home I am not exagerating. Not one bit!!! Hope your days was better than mine???

Crazyness

Hello everyone! Well today I am off work and its been pretty boring around here. I am trying to keep my children occupied, so far... we made purses and tamberines out of paper plates and then they had to help clean up when we finished so they got to each help sweep. After that I tried just to get them to relax and watch some little einsteins and that was impossible. They kept screaming and taking toys from eachother. I was going insane. So I put them down for nap and now I finally have some peace. Auhh so nice!!!

Hawaii

Hey everyone, well our family just got back from beautiful Hawaii. We stayed on Ohau right across the street from the beach. It was perfect. I miss it already. Chuck and I were invited there by our Inlaws to celebrate his mom and dad's 30 wedding anniversary. We also went with Chuck's sisters Stephanie and Emily. It was great. We went to the Polenesian Center and I learned so much about all the different cultures and also visited the temple there as well. It was so nice to get away from the stress of the city and relax on the beach. I got a little tanned and burnt but it was all worth it. Now, I'm peeling and loosing my tan... I am so sad. I already miss it. When we went we didnt take our children but we had such great family to help us andwatch them while we were gone. Thanks a ton!!! It was great. We also went Parasailing and you will see picks of that and we also visited the memorial of the Arizona ship at Pearl Harbor. It was so cool to see a part of history and to hear the story as well. I didnt realize how much the men who fight for our country go through. Sheesh. Well hopefully I will be getting picks up from parasailing and more when I get my camera unloaded. Later.

I finally have a blog!

Well thanks to my good friend Jenn Wheat, I can now make a blog for my family. My name is Allison Nelson (AKA Allison Vail), I am married to Chuck Nelson for our almost 4 years. We have two kids, Bailey (will be 3yr old girl in June), and Peyton (18 months boy). I work at Memorial Hospital in Modesto, Ca as an Admisistrative Assistant to the Hospitalist doctors. Chuck co-owns a pressure washing company with his dad. We just recently bought a house last year and have been fixing it up. I love our house. Chuck and his friend Doug just recently re-did our front yard for our kids. Now we have a white picked fence and the greenest grass on the block. I love our home. Well thats about all for now. Thanks.
