This friday and saturday was a Time Out for women for the members of our church. It was my first time attending thanks to my mother in law for buying me a ticket for my birthday present (best present EVER!!!) I went with some gals from my home ward, 8th ward. The theme for the years event was having Hope in our lives. And oh my gosh... the speakers and the music just moved me. First thing they wanted us to do was to write down what we hope for. Here are some of the things I hope for:

I hope to find a home that is right for my family.
I hope that Chuck will make choices for his buisness that will help it.
I hope that our family will become stronger in the church.
I hope to learn more in the church and to fulfill my calling.
I hope that Chuck will become less stressed and more happy.

The speakers were Ardeth Kapp and she was a funny older woman. Some highlights that I noted from her talk were... "being a riteous woman is our calling inorder to return to our Heavenly Father and gain eternal life"... "Hope is a gift from the Holy Ghost"... "Inorder to hear what Heavenly Father is saying to us, we need to change our "Hearing Aid Batteries""... for one part she forgot her next topic and stated that she had "photographic memory just not same day delivery". She was such a sweet spirit and I enjoyed her talk.

The next speaker was one of my personal favorates... John Bytheway. His books and talks helped me get through highschool. Well now his talk was on helping our marriages and having HOPE to make them stronger. He used a lot of quotes from books which one book I am looking forward to reading is by Sister Hinckley called Small and Simple Things. He also had some funny moments like his wife wanted to marry Captain Moroni and instead got Coprait Moron. Auhhh his talks hit so close to home. Just Kidding... But one thing he mentioned was how we persue our marriages, by Appreciate/Expect/Demand. Appreciate is the beginning of the marriage when our spouses do something nice for us, we appreciate it, then we expect it, then we demand it. We need to always appreciate and never expect or demand. That is what will keep a marriage strong and its not just the men who have to do it but us women as well. I bought one of his books while I was there called "Behind Every Good Man". I am HOPING that this book will give me the insight on becoming a better companion to my priesthood leader in our home.

The music that they had was so great and they all had great sence of humors. Friday night is was Jenny Oaks Baker, a violin player who is awesome!!! And Saturday was Mercy River, a womens singing group that was butiful, insightful, and hopeful for whats to come when Christ returns. They also did a remake of Michael Jackson's Beat It call Just Eat It dedicated to the picky eaters called our children, it was so funny and ohh so true!!!

The next speakers were Emily Watts who spoke about being incharge of your life and always treasuring our children cause they grow up so fast; Amanda Dickson who was actually a non member who acted like a member her whole life and was funny and had facial expressions for everything. She spoke about keeping your hopes Up not Down. And looking for the Best thing that can happen... and not the worst thing that can happen cause some of the worst things, turn out to be the best things.;We also heard a tragic and hardship life story from Mariama Kallon from West Africa; Jill Manning about how to deal with pornography in our home and how to get rid of it. 1st Peter 5:8, pornography is the lion and we are the Elephants. Lions will not attack Elephants. (figuratively speaking);Last speaker was Emily Freeman and she was funny and spoke about never giving up on hope and spoke about her adopted neice who she would spoil with carmel candy and one day the little girl got a concussion and had to go into the hospital for brain surgery and after the surgery the doctors were not sure if she was going to make it and was waiting for her to wake up, and Emily wispered in her ear that she had carmel and the little girl woke up and all she wanted was the candy. It was very cute.

I am so greatful that I was able to go and be with all my friends. They too are great inspirations and examples and I love them all!!! Can't wait til next year.

It feels so weird to not have Bailey around during the day now that she's in Kindergarden. Wow I have a KINDERGARDNER!!! Holy cow where has the time gone??? Wednesday June 23,2010; Jacob Douglas Nelson was born at 9:45 pm with a weigh in of 9lbs 2.5 ounces and 19 3/4 inches long. He is the biggest weighing baby I have had and yet the shortest one too. He is so perfect and looks just like Bailey when she was born. (meaning he looks just like Chuck) I am doing really well, i was induced at 7:00 am and had an epidural that worked wonders. It only took about 5 pushes until he was here and it was almost too easy. I am just so glad he's here.

Any day now... Jacob will be joining our family...

Well so far this pregnancy has been quite a journey. Now I am at 38 weeks and I am just a ticking time bomb whose nesting and walking every day trying to get this baby out. I am getting anxious to meet Jacob. I have washed all his clothes, and blankets and when I pick up a onsie to put it away I just picture how big or little he will be. I can't wait any longer. I just want to have him be a part of our lives already. Bailey and Peyton are also very excited to meet their baby brother. They are so cute when the kiss my belly and say "I love you Jacob". I will keep you all posted on when he gets here. My due date is June 16th and my doctor said that when I'm at 3cm dialated he is going to enduce me. Well so far I am at 1cm and can't get passed it. We will see what happens.

A sad day for the Nelson Family

On Tuesday, February 16th, at around 9:30, the Nelson family lost a huge part of our lives, a legacy that we will never forget. Troy Nelson, my father in law, passed away at Kaiser Hospital. We still dont know what went wrong. We do know that we will miss our father, grandfather, and friend. He was a funny man. He was a great listener, and our kids knew his as their "Favorate Papa".

We will miss you Troy. But we know that you are in a better place with your mom and dad and we know that you are getting to know your grandchildren that you had yet to meet on earth, and they will also know you as their favorate papa. You were a huge example for all of us and you will be missed, but always remembered. We love you.

Well I feel like I haven't written in forever. I have been so busy with work and coming home and playing with the kids. But our family does have some great news... I'm pregnant. Yeah!!! So there is a funny story behind this news. So I realized that I was two weeks late for my monthly friend. The girl that sits in the cubicle across from me had told me she was "irregular" before (I know TMI)so I thought I was on her
schedule. So we talked one day and I mentioned it and we agree'd that that was it. We were on the same "schedule". The next day as we were working she mouths to me that she is going to have a baby. I was very excited for her yet I thought to "what does that mean for me?" The next day she kept asking me for is I was or not and I didnt want to jinx myself is I wasn't. So Friday came and I was final... I came home from work and took my first test and called to my husband and the first thing he says was "What did you do?" and I said "no its more like what did you do". Well thats when I showed him the positive test results. We are so excited and the kids are too. Peyton thinks my belly button is a peep hole to see the baby. Nope not really. He also likes to pet my belly and says "Hush Baby, dont cry". Its so sweet. Bailey is going to be such a great big sister. She is already planning on helping with the feeding part. Well thats whats going on with us. Great news huh?

My baby boy turned 3 years old. For the second year in a row Peyton had a Pirate Birthday Party. It was fun except when it got to dark in the frot yard and he had to open his presents in front of a lantern. Auhh Good Times... But he loved it. Everyone he loves was there and then some... and he had a great time celebrating his birthday. I have never heard so many "Ohh my Gosh!" and "Wow... Cool!" From my little guy. He cracks everyone up!!! Thats why I love him!!!

This last week we spent 5 days in Disneyland. It was fun to be with the kids and see how excited they are when we come here. We even bought the kids costumes (at the target down there cause we arent made of money) But the kids dressed up for a day.It was so fun. I espeacially loved it when they got there faces painted. Bailey had a dinasaur on her face and Peyton of coarse was a pirate. I think he really wants to be Captain Hook sometimes. Its so funny. We had a great time and loved spending time with Chucks parents. They were a lot of fun. I am glad we're home though. Theres only so many times you can go on Peter Pan and shoot Zurg on the Buzz Lightyear ride.

My Sister In Law Beth game Bailey and Peyton swim lessons and they swim like fish now. Not completely on there own but I am just shocked how good they got for never swimming in a big pool. The lessons helped them a lot and Beth was a great teacher. Thank you so much Beth.

My Suprise Party

So for my birthday my husband and my family got me good... My husband planned a suprise party at my parents house. I knew something was up but had no idea and Chuck wouldnt tell me anything!!! So Friday all he would tell me was something was going to happen so I was expecting him to send something to my work. The week before this, he would come home and not tell me where he was, or delete whom he tected or talked to on his phone. (I get really nosie) I also noticed once he called my sister and my cousin and I texted both of them the next day and they wouldnt spill any beans. Then on Thursday night I had seen my parents at a church softball game and they told me they just came from Costco and they had a lot of food in there car... which to you thats not weird at all, but to me... my parents are on a very stricked diet and they dont eat regular food... so there was my first clue... the second one was on Friday we were supposed to go out to dinner with my family and my mom gets off work at 5 o'clock and usually we would go out to dinner right away, but when I called my mom, she told me to get there at 7pm. 7pm seemed pretty late to go out to a resturaunt on a Friday night. Hmmm... the wheels in my head were turning.... And I was right... we showed up to my parents house with them acting ready to leave for dinner when my dad tells me to check out a project he was working on in his Garage... when I opened the door.... SUPRISE... all of my friends and family were out in the garage (which is no ordinary garage, but a movie room now). It was great. My sister in law Beth and Chuck cooked me authentic mexican food which was awesome, and The gifts were great. Chuck gave to the best gift. 4 boxes. The first one, was a plastic Cricket meaning $100 towards my Cricket machine; and Outlet Socket (random) meaning $150 towards an Outlet stores of my choice; a flash light meaning a camping trip; and a little box with sea shells on it with a letter inside meaning an overnight trip with or with out the kids. It was the best birthday gift ever!!!

So the fourth was so much fun. Chuck's cousins came down from LA and they are so much fun. We also played games like Chucks X Box and the Wi, we even had a few games of Water Balloon Volleyball (just like old times). It was so much fun. I love Chucks family. Also our friends the Whites came to spend the fourth with us, they are so much fun, It was great pouring an ice bucket on Ian while he was in the kiddy pool. Sorry Ian. They are all awesome!!!

Well if anyone ever askes you to make shish cabobs for about 25 people, say no and "run away!" I on the other hand offered not knowing what I was getting myself into. It took me a whole day before to cut everything and I even had to have my confort food (Salt and Vinegar chips) just to keep me sane. Afterwards I was so tired that me and my kids fell asleep on the couch watching "Yo Gabba Gabba". I;m just glad that in the end they were great and yummy and I also got help from the Nelson Cousins. Thanks Guys!!!

June 20th my baby girl turned 4 yrs old. She had a Dora party at a park that we love to go to. It was so much fun, had great food, fun games, a pinata, and Bailey had some awesome presents. Thanks to our family for all they fun we had.

I finally got a new job!!!

So last Friday I was called by a company called MedEx (medical billing co) and went in for an interview. Then they called me late Monday to get a 2nd interview for Tuesday (yesturday). So I went in yesturday and the interview went great! Then they said that they wanted to get back to me "real soon" to let me know. Well and hour later I get a phone call telling me that I got the job and when can I start. Well I told them I could start today. I went in today and it was great being at work again. I love it. I love the people and the work. I am sad to leave my kids after being with them for 6 months, but this will help our family out a lot. I am just so glad that it is something that I am familiar with from my first job at Unique Healthcare and my second job at the Hospital. Its so awsome!!! And I have to thank my old friend from OB Dept at Gould, Jenn Lea for getting me the job. Thanks so much Jenn!!!

Since me and Chuck have been married, we have always loved Texas Holdem Poker. We once had a poker table top but through all the moves we have had, it got ruined. Well Chuck and his friend Doug have been putting ideas together and started making one together. They are going to make it Giants themed. But they have had some great ideas. So here's what you are seeing... its an oval shape (which eventually will be covered in orange felt with a giants logo in the center)and if your wandering what the pool noodle is doing there, well, its going to be covered in black material and made into a bumper to go all around the table. They have ordered cup holders to go inside the table as well. I will keep you all posted on what they do next.

Okay so my mom took me and my family out to dinner on Tuesday and then took me, my kids and my sister and her fam to Stockton to go to the Home Goods store cause I had never been there. I really liked it cause I love all those types of stores like TJ Max and Ross, they always have the best CRAP!!! Well while I was there I was looking at the clearance items and found these book ends with pink lady bugs on them. They were marked down from $7.00 to $3.00 cause they were loose. So I thought I would buy them and repaint them and glue them and they will be as good as new. And they turned out great.

So we went to another Giants game on Saturday the 30th, but went with our friends the White's, and brought Bailey cause any kids 12 years and under got a free Teddy Bear. (Peyton got to go with my inlaws to the Apricot Festival)It was a lot of fun and Chuck, Bailey and I were all on the score board at one time or another. Chuck and Ian were asked to do a Visa Commercial and Ian said that Chuck should do it, so since Chuck did it, he got $60 in gift cards. And I took Bailey to the little Baseball Field for kids and we were on the scoreboard swinging the bat together. How cool is that!!! Well the Giants lost this game but it was still fun. And I was glad that Bailey got to come, and next game we go to Peyton will be coming with us. I cant wait!!!

New Moon Movie

Okay soI am crazy excited to see the New Moon movie, and now that part of the preview is out, I am even more excited cause that means it's that much closer to November. I know I am silly. I have read all the books and my husband was kind enough to buy me two of the books. Unfortunately he bought me the 1st book and the 4th book. (Don't ask me why??? I am still trying to figure that out) But he was kind enough to at least buy them for me. So right now I am rereading the 1st book. Its so nothing like the movie. On Tuesday we went to another Giants game. This time with our good friends the Wrights. It was a BLAST!!! Although me and Natalie went to go look at stores and as soon as we left, we saw our section on TV being thrown t-shirts while we were in the store. OMG and when we came back to our suprise, Ben had his first Giants shirt on. Apparently there were some bitter-sweet feelings between him and the older lady sitting behind us, since he knocked the shirt out of her hands. He was scared to look back after that. Other than that the score was 4 to 0 and we won!!! Its alwaysgreat to go when they win!!! Go Giants!!!

Well a lot has happened lately, one, I didnt get the job, two, my uncle (my dad's brother) passed away last Saturday. So yesturday was the memorial and it turned out very nice and touching. And sadly today was my cousin daughter's birthday. My uncle's grandaughter. And since yesturday was the sad day, today was the happy day. And it turned out great and I know my uncle was with us all in spirit. And the best part about today was all the cousin's on the Vail side were together for the first time plus all of our kids. It was the funnest 2 year old party ever!!! Thanks Kristin!

My cousin Kristin's daughter turned 2 today and I had no money to get her a present, but I had a piece of wood, and paint and borrowed a sander from my dad, and had my handy dandy cricket and scrapbook paper. So I made her something. I called Kris last week and asked what Paige's colors were in her room. She said the furniture was black, and the colors are fucsia, loght pink, light yellow, and light green. An idea popped in my head that I should make her a sign that has her name with discriptive words of who she is, that starts with the letters of her name. It turned out great. And Kristin loved it.

Well unfortunately the job in Stockton fell through. But I am moving on. I found out that a family friend works at a Medical Billing Company and mailed me an application. I brought it to them on Thursday and within two hours I got a call. Here is how it turned out.

Seasonal Blocks

So I recieved these wooden blocks from our friends Ben and Natalie. I couldn't decide on what to paint. I had 6 blocks and painters block. So my husband gave me the best idea. Paint and decorate each side of the blocks to the different seasons. Best idea ever!!! I love my husband. So I painted, sanded, and thanks to my cricket, cut out letters and shapes and mod podge them on. And they turned out so great that I am thinking of making them to sell. So let me know what you think and if you would like to purchase them I would be happy to make them for you. I am thinking of starting them out at $17.00 and I can ship them within two days. Here are pictures from our second Giants Game this season. It was so much fun. We went and met our friends Brooks and AmyAnn and to our suprise, Amber and Mike Garriety came as well. They were sitting in a different section but no one around us showed up so they came and sat with us. It was a blast. We all had the best of time. Well since I have been a stay at home mom, I have learned a lot about cooking and have not been afraid to try new things or... old things. Like Pork Chops (and apple sauce). So on my first try to make pork chops, the smoke detector was not my friend. I felt so bad for my husband to have to hear it over and over again and swore that it was going to be well worth it. After the 8-9th time of the alarm going off dinner was finally ready and very delicious!!!

While we were at the Giants Game on Wednesday, my inlaws were so kind to let our kids spend the night. The next morning my sis-in-law Stephanie offered to put make up on my daughter Bailey but she wanted nothing to do with it. But my son... did. So for my husbands birthday, me and his brother Garrett and his best friend Doug went to a San Francisco Giants game together. It was so much fun. I have never seen my husband really relaxed at a game. But those two guys made it fun. On the way there Chuck had an "Old Man" moment. I guess when we were at home he slid on his adidas sandals to check the mail and forgot to change them for the game. So 30 minutes after we left our house he looked down and I quote; "AUHH CRAP, I STILL HAVE MY SANDALS ON!" Well for him that was a good thing cause he made us stop off at a store and bought a new pair. (Another Birthday Gift for himself) It was so funny though. Then after the game (which the Giants lost) they had an awsome fireworks show that was so beautiful. I love you babe and I hope you had a great Birthday.

On my way home one day, on my street was a blue race car bed that my neighbors were throwing out. I ran inside my house and asked my husband to go down and ask if we can have it. He said that it was trash and we don't need it. But with my son's room being Disney Cars theme, I had to have it. So since Chuck wouldn't go down, I went down my self and asked. The neighbors were very kind to let me have it and even asked to help me take it home but I thought I could handle it on my own. So I drug it home and washed it off cause it had some dirt on it. Well I love it and Peyton loves it too. The best things in life are free!!!

On Monday I got a phone call from my niece crying so hard I couldn't understand her. I asked her to give me to her mom to talk to, and apparently she was asking me to come to an awards ceremony that her school was having the next day. I was so honored that she asked me. So the next day me and Bailey bought her some fake flower bouquet from the dollar store and we gave them to her after the ceremony. She won two awards. She won an award for Perfect Attendence, and a White Card for her grade point average. When I was younger those awards were called the Renasaunce Award, her's was called the Cougar Pride Award. She did so great. I am so proud of her. And I am so glad she asked me to come. Thanks Dena.

On Saturday I was getting ready for my Med Billing Class and Peyton woke up and wanted to watch tv. I turned on the Disney Channel, Handy Manny, so I thought. When I left the room I heard the sound of the drum sticks to our Guitar Hero Drums and I went to check on him, he had turned the channel to MTV2. I never watch that, but he was watching a U2 video and wanted to drum along with them. It was so funny. I couldn't help but to laugh and run and get my camera.

I am now a Certified Medical Biller. I am so excited to be one step closer to starting my new job. I should be starting some time in April. But my medical billing classes were so great and helped so much. I also went to the class not knowing anyone there and turned out to know one girl that goes to my ward. How weird is that? My Husband suprised me by buying me the greatest gift ever!!! A Cricket! If you dont know what that it, it's a scrapbooking machine and cuts out shapes and letters with a touch of a button. Saturday evening I was so bored!!! I had some projects that I needed to start and it was the perfect time to get them done. My mom-in-law gave me this cute idea of making a sign with ribbon hanging to clip Bailey's bows and hair clips to. By the time I clipped them all on I realized I needed to make the ribbons longer cause I never realized how many bows she had. But I like how it came out. And she loves it too. This was a project I hadn't planned on making. I bought the flowers at the $1 Dollar store and needed to find vase for them. I went to Michaels and bought three taracotta potts and painted them and made them spell out Easter. I love how they turned out. And they were hecka easy to make.

I bought this cooking book for my kids. It has a bunch of Disney characters and different foods that they like to eat. Last night we made Mr. Incredible's Spagetti and Meatballs. Bailey helped me with the noodles and Peyton helped me with balling the meat into balls. It was fun and Peyton got to help with washing the dishes afterwards. I have a very picky eater, my daughter, hopefully this will help her to eat more different foods.

When I got home from being at my inlaws all morning I had a couple of suprises waiting for me. Chuck had ordered me cali lilies and roses for Valentines Day. They were on my table when I got home I thought they were so gorgeous, he did such a good job picking them out for me. But that wasn't all. Later I was cleaning house and went in my room to put stuff away and there was more. Another bouquet on my night stand. Auhh... I love him!!!

My In laws got me and my husband a closet for our garage for Christmas. We use it to organize my scrapbooking stuff and crafts and kids stuff. I love it so much. I feel like Martha Stewart being so organized!

Hi I'm Woody, Howdy Howdy Howdy... Auhh my Peyton... lately he has been such a crack up. I have made it a point to spend a lot of time with him cause if I dont... he gets into things he shouldn't and gets into a ton of trouble... like learning how to change the DVD player... he takes a toy chair from his sister's room and stands on it to get to our DVD player in my bedroom... BIG NO NO, he has also discovered that he likes to chew and play with any gum thats lying around (yes I said it... GUM!) He is sometimes what I would like to call a menace!!! But no matter what, there are times when he's a complete angel, like when he wants to show me something or for me to follow him somewhere he says "Show me, come show me..." as he grabs my hands and drags me with him. He also has discovered me tickling his belly and when he's tired he will come ley by me and pull up his shirt for me to tickle his round belly. He as always loved for me to rock him in his Great Grandma Moog's rocking chair that my mother in law had given me. I love that he likes me to read to him every night and to sing him a song. I love my little menace and hopefully, this is a phase that he's in when he gets into trouble.

Made with Love!

This one I painted the castle and the green grass, everything else is scrapbook stickers. Bailey loves it, I also had to mojpaj it so it hardened and all stayed on.
Here is Buzz Lightyear which was the easiest one to do cause all I did was put him on the moon. Yet its also Peyton's favorate.
Jesse and Woody was a little more harder, I had to watch the movie and pause it on a part that showed the Sheriffs Dept. But I love how it turned out.
This was my first one and I love it. I think it turned out great.

Lately I have searched through my creative side and found out that I am a bit artistic. Peyton's room was sports theme but we changed it to Cars theme. He had these pictures in his room on canvases that had a baseball, basketball, and football. I painted over them and drew a background and found some scrapbooking stickers of my kids favorate characters to put in there room. Here are my final results. I love them and my kids love them too, Peyton says goodnight to them with blowing them kisses every night before he goes to bed. And since I made them for Peytons room, Bailey got jealous so I made one for her too... princess themed. Enjoy!!!

Job Follow Up

Well I finally got a job, but I wont start until mid March. Its kinda weird how it came together. A couple of weeks ago I got a call from a doctor that I has worked with before. He told me that there was a doctor that he knew that was starting his own Hospitalist Program in Stockton Ca. I thought it was very kind of him to think of me and I was so very greatful. So he gave me this doctors phone number and told me the best time to call him. I called him the following day and he said the best thing ever, "I was going to call you if you weren't going to call me." He had discussed what he was looking for in an assistant and I believe that I would be the best qualified for the job. After all I had expieriance. So I met with him last Thursday and we seemed to hit it off well and he said that he wanted me to find a Medical Billing workshop to help me with the job. The next day I looked up all I can for Medical Billing classes and workshops and the best I found and the most reasonable with the amount ($$$) and time was at Modesto Junior College. They had a three class series that had a deal for $210, and it only took two Saturdays to complete. When I signed up for the class, I had to be put on the waiting list for the 1st class. So I called to see if I would still get the good deal for the classes, first the woman on the phone said no, then she told me to hold for a second and tells me they had a meeting that morning and said that they were opening positions in the class so more people could sign up. I cant believe how too good to be truw this has been. I havnt found anything, yet a job finds me, I thought I wasnt going to be able to get into the class I wanted and then an opening occurs. I definately believe in miracles and this has been a huge one, also my husband had given me a priesthood blessing and I believe that it has blessed my life. I love having faith in the Lord to help me find whats best for me and my family.

So in two weeks I have read two books in two weeks. Today I have started the third book. And I am so excited. I didnt really like the second book either. I was totally excited when Edward came back in the story line. I kept reading it till I was done with it. I about pee'd my pants with excitement when Edward asked her to be his wife. I was so excited. Auhhh I love Edward. Anyways... I am so excited to read the thrid book. Hopefully I can read this one in a week as well. I love this series!!! TWILIGHT

I know I am a little behind from the trend, but in Young Women's I am always hearing all the girls talking about Twilight. Adrianna one of my YW offered to lend me her copy of Twilight, she brought it to me last Sunday and I finished it in a week and this Sunday she brought me the second book and I am already half way through it. It is never that I read a book this fast EVER!!! (But when your unemployed I guess you have nothing better to do.) But I love it. I was almost jealous of Bella for having the relationship that she had with her man, Edward. But not so much anymore. It was a little too desperate. In the second book Alex another YW of mine mentioned how the third chapter was really depressing and by the time I got to it, I was sniffling. Now I am obsessed. Every time my husband see's me my head is in the book. I am so sorry hunny. But I love it. It's so intresting. And so easy to read. Well I hope I am not the only obsessed one about it. I already told my Young Women that when it comes out on video I am definately having a Twilight Sleepover at my house. Ohh Yeah Baby!!! I am kicking the boys out and its a total girls night. I cant wait. I have not seen the movie yet but I cant wait.

11 Days Off!!!

I am finally on vacation starting tomorrow. Holy Crap I cant wait! A lot has been happening and I need a break from the world. This next week we are going to Huntington Beach and then off to Disneyland. I am so excited!!! We have been telling Bailey that if she starts using the potty we would take her to Disneyland (just to get her excited and boy she is!) And we are taking Peyton since he turned 2, we had taken Bailey last year when she turned two. It will be our 1st big vacation with all of us together. I am so excited!!! I am going to Put Bailey in her Princess dresses and Peyton I know he will just love California Adventure with Bugs Life stuff and Toy Story. He loves all of that. Including Nemo. I cant wait. We had so much fun at Peyton's party. It was a work out, and we had a good turn out of friends and family show up. The look on Peyton's face was priceless when he seen the jumphouse which was Palmtrees and made it look like a deserted island. Also in the middle of the party I think sugar was getting to him cause he started being so silly, he was dancing by himself and spinning in circles and would fall down on purpose as if he was still in the jump house. I wish I had my camera. It was priceless. But it was the best 2 year old party ever.

Last Week

Auuhh, I am kinda glad that today is Monday, the start of a new week cause my last week was too busy for me. And now I feel that I can breath cause its back to normal. Last week started with;
Monday: Me and Chuck going to Target for the Birthday stuff for my sons party on Saturday
Tuesday: Baby shower for a friend in our ward.
Wednesday: Mutual
Thursday: Leadership meeting for Young Womens
Friday: (my one day off) Cleaning house
Saturday: Working at the Flu Clinic for Over Time from 7-12pm, and going home and getting ready for the party that started at 4pm.
Sunday: Church, I had to teach the Young Women lesson.

Now all I can think of is I can finally go home and see my kids without leaving them with my husband who had missed me also, cause when I came home from work, he had me watch the kids since he was home with them during the day. I am so tired of having stuff to do. Plus now I am coming down with a head cold and need a ton of rest. :)

Auhh lately I have been telling you all how much I love the Dollar Tree well now you know why... these signs with the words, the Peace and Welcome and Friends, I got all those at the Dollar Tree. The board with the saying I got at Micheals for $4, along with the Christmas tree's on the peace sign for $0.29, and the fall frames were a $1. I am greatful for my mother in law for lending me her paints to do all of this with. I think for Christmas I am going to ask for my own so I will stop using her's. But thanks anyways.

So a week ago on a Thursday night our friends call us and ask us if we want to go camping the next day. I have had the urge to go camping for awhile and when Chuck asked me I was like "Yes, Yes, Yes". But me and Chuck have never been camping together before. So we had nothing to go camping. He had a tent and a little air mattress cause he had taken Bailey once to a ward camp out and Peyton to a father son camp out. But never with all of us together. So we had to get everything in a hurry... another mattress for me, another sleeping bag, a stove, pots and pans, get food ready, and ect... we also decuded to go to Folson Lake since our friends lived in Sacramento we thought we would go by them. On the way up we realized that we forgot some things like a pump for our mattresses and ketchup and mustard for the kids and a lighter for the fire. Well when we finally got there and found a camp ground to camp in, there were a ton of people around in the grounds around us and it was a bit of a hike to the pottys. But no biggy, but we also forgot one more thing... fire wood. And since there were some dead tree's by us our friend Ian brought his handy dandy ax to solve our problem. But there is was a bad thing... er-go the police car in the picture's above. Yup we were not aware that its an $800 midameener (sp) to cut our own wood from the tree's there. (Don't worry, we didn't get one) So the boys drove to the nearest gas station (about 10 minutes away) and bought some fire wood. Once we were settled and the kids were in bed, it was SMORE TIME. I pigged out on those things like it was the last thing to eat on earth. I had 5!!! And I don't regret it either. They were so stinkin good!!! So as we were chatting around the fire, another police came up to us and told us it was quiet time, everyone looked at me like I was the blame. Well I am loud... sorry. Afterall of the stress and huffing and puffing, it turned out to be a great campng trip and we have learned not to go back to folsom lake again. For now on its off to the sierra's!!! We love you guys, Ian and Yanneth, thanks so much for inviting us. Hope to do it again soon!!!

So... Chuck brought up a cute idea to do for a cake, it was to make a pirate flag... so simple I can't believe how smart my hubby is, he also suggested a map. But this was so easy. And as you can see I had to cut a piece off for Chuck cause I took the rest to work with me cause I didnt want to have the huge cake for just me and Chuck to eat, so I shared it with my co-workers. When I got to work though, I had put a lid on the glasswear and when I took it off, the skull face was stuck to the lid. So I was pretty glad that I took the picture before I left for work. Here are Chuck's best friends. They have always been there for one another and this was the first time that they had all been together in five years. There's Doug, Carter, Brooks, and Adam. Adam lives in Virginia and Carter lives in Utah. Doug is here in Modesto and Brooks just moved to Sacramento. These guys are the silliest bunch of lil kids when there around eachother. They do the wierest things. For some odd reason, there favorate things to do is hit eachother in the privates. Dont ask me why, I'm still trying to figure it out. But when all said and done at the end of there night, they do a toast with Apple Cider and go in the Garage and talk about who knows what? But when that happens, "No Girls Aloud". Whatever!!! I see how it is. But by the end of the day no matter what Chuck was so happy to see his friends. It was great to see all of them. We love you guys!

I have been looking on the internet for good ideas for my sons birthday (Its going to be Pirate Themed) and have discovered this website that I love. http://familyfun.go.com/

They have the cutest ideas and videos that really help. I definately reccomend looking at this for anything. So cute. Also if anyone is ever doing a Pirate them, or even a Princess theme, go to the Dollar Tree if you have one. They have everything from Goodie bags to masks, to decorations. I cant wait til Peyton's party. Chuck wants to get a Jumphouse but the only thing we could find was Noah's Ark with a huge Elephant hanging out so we may use it and tape a pirate patch over the eye of the elephany and stuff. ( I know that doesn't sound right to do that to the ark, but they didnt have anything else. ) Anyways have a good week.

Hello all!!! Here are some pics from our yearly trip to Sunset Beach. My families ward goes almost every year since I was in high school and when I heard that they were going this year I told them I was tagging along for the ride. So we brought our family. I finally got to do my most favorate thing in the world, BOOGIE BOARDING! I havnt gone forever, we went in Hawaii but oddly there were no good waves. But this was so much fun!!! I actually saw a bunch of Jelly Fish outside the water but once I was in and found one right next to me floating in the water. I freaked out but couldn't stay out, I just went down the beach and got in a different spot. It was so much fun. Sadly Chuck isnt a water person and told me that he was fine being there for the kids entertainment. I dont care! I had a blast. I love the beach. Well Enjoy the pics.

An Awsome Temple Experience

Back in August, Chuck and I decided to go on a date to the temple for our ward temple night. It was awsome! Just so peaceful and me and Chuck had never been closer to one another. Until... while we were in the Celestial Room at the temple, we felt an EARTHQUAKE. I have never seen the chandalere sway as much as it did and as I was holding Chucks hand I was about to rip his arm off as well. It was so scary. We also were there with the stake president whom has a close relationship with my husband. So Chuck made the comment that this is what happens when he and the stake president are in the temple together. President Hawkins overheard that and starting busting up laughing. It was so funny. But it was a great experience. If there was ever a major earthquake again the Temple was where I would want to be. I see it as an exemption.

Very Crafty

Lately I have been in a crafty mood. I dont know if I have mentioned how I have discovered the dollar tree here in Modesto, BUT I LOVE IT. And they have these wooden signs that you can paint and decorate. I had a girls night and bought the girls each a Welcome signs and we all sat around my table and chit chatted away while we painted. It was so much fun. So now I have an idea for all my Christmas presents... yes, score!!!

But I love being crative like that. I have been buying cheap stuff from michaels to paint for fall. I love fall colors and everything. I wish Fall could last longer than Summer. Anyways. I'm totally rambling. Ohhh well I havnt written in awhile and I need to post up pics. I know... have a great day!!!

So a couple weeks ago at Mutual I took pictures of my young women so we can make them in black and white, last night I finally gave them to the girls and they loved them and so did everyone else. They thought they were taken by a professional, nope... just me. Then one of the parents asked me to take her daughters Senior Pictures and then I thought, that would be so fun. Okay so I know I already wrote a post this morning but bad things have been happening to people around me lately. A man from our ward had come into the hospital with an unknown brain tumor, so scary, he is so friendly and nice and him and his wife are so sweet together. So today he is going in for surgery and all I can do is pray for the Lord to bless his surgeons and to take care of him and his family. Then my friend Angela who works down the hall from me at the hospital, her Ex-Husbands daughter drowned in a bath tub today, she is almost 1 yrs old and barely made it, the dad took her out of the tub and immediately performed CPR on her. They took her to DMC and now she is breathing and crying but they are not sure what the damage is to her brain yet. God has a lot of prayers to answer.

Hello all! So I havn't written in a long time. Well lately I have been frustrated, tired, groggy, and not in the mood to do much. I was hoping to start putting my scrapbooking work up on this cause I have been in the zone, but I had lost my camera and recently found it in our diaper bag (???). So I will get that stuff up soon. Also my daughter has been sleeping with me lately (a big no no) and so when I try to get her in her own bed she wants me to lay with her, so I have been up late just trying to get out of her twin bed and into my comfy queen bed. (Which then she crawls into bed with me) So I then have to feel her tapping my shoulder and asking me for more juice. Last night I got that 3 times. I was about to scream! So I am now at work, very tired, and trying to stay awake. Sorry!

Also I have been trying to upload pictures on my computer at home and download them on my Costco.com under photos so they can print them out and I can pick them up, but they had just recently changed there web site and now it works for my slow computer at home but not on my fast computer at work. Again frustrating!!! I had taken some pics of my young women and we are supposed to print them in black and white, then color them next week, so I was trying to just get rid of the pics that didn't turn out good at work cause my house computer is very slow, then I try to upload them on Costco and it didnt work. Auuhhhhhh! Yeah my days have been better!!! So now I have pics I want to print on my work computer, but I cant download them cause I am not at my house computer. I am not a computer wiz or else this would be simple to me. But its not!!! Well anywho... enough of my problems, I just need to get through another day at work. Later!

Scrapbooking

Okay I have found a new love in my life. Scrapbooking, and everything that comes with it. I am in the making of 4 books, a book for me and Chuck, from dating til now, a book for each of my kids, Bailey and Peyton and a small book from when me and my sister were in Dance together. Now I am finding that you can do so much more than scrapbooking books, but picture frames, cards (I made a card for my moms Birthday) and just so muuch more. My good friend Lia from work used to be a scrapbooking "Goo Roo" and she has been giving me tubs of her stuff that she doesn't want or use anymore. Even a tub of scrapbooking magazines that I have all the time in the world to look at and I think I am going to take ideas from each book and try to recreate them myself. I love it. Chuck on the other hand thinks its just more clutter that we dont need. Well Bring On The Clutter!!! Here are some picks of my organizers that I got from Target and some brown little pull out drawers that a drug rep brought pens in to work and was throwing these away, I told her I wanted them to put some stuff in, I can put ribbon, brads, buttons, and even small stamps. I am taking the insides out and puting in Border paper in the insides, I have a picture of the before and after as well. I love this stuff!!!

Cell Phones

Okay so last week I went to a church softball game for my husband and when I got home I couldn't find my cell phone anywhere. It was driving me crazy, cause I actually use my cell for a lot of things. I use it for an Alarm Clock cause I tend to sleep through my real alarm clock so I have to set them both (drives my husband crazy), I also use it to know when to clock in and out of my lunch cause I will forget, and I use it to check my myspace cause my computer is so slow and I love to play bejeweled on it when I'm board. I felt so lost with out it. I was so sad!!! So on Sunday I went to the gargage to do a load of laundry and "Thank the Heavens" my alarm was going off and I knew I had found it. It was in a little bag in the lawn chair I was sitting in at the game. Before I had found it, I had searched High and Low at the baseball field and even... the garbage. Ewwww. I was afraid that Peyton thought it would be funny to throw away mommies cell. So now I dont have to ground him forever. I just dont know what I would do with out my cell phone. Its so weird... we used to not have to worry about these things and now there attached to our hips and we cant live with out them. Technology ... hmm... is it good or bad? The world may never know!!!

Well tomorrow is my Birthday, and at this moment I am sick with the stomach flu. Not Fun!!! Plus I am working right now just trying to get through my day. Its horrible. We are supposed to go out to a nice Mexican resturaunt for tomorrow and I am feeling like Crap!!! Well please pray for me to feel better, I dont want to feel like this on my Birthday. I want to feel like a young, energetic 25 year old (thats pushing it a little). Its so wierd. I was always used to being the baby, the youngest, now I am half a century old. Sheesh. Time sure does fly. I am going to miss being the baby. Well Happy Birthday to me!!!

So I was looking at my blog and I noticed that I have a lot of Bailey and not enough Peyton. He is so funny and cute and sweeter than apple pie!!! I those this little boy that Heavenly Father brought to me. We have a special bond that no one can ever break. And I hope he knows that. Last night I put him down, and got him a drink before bed. Chuck went in to kiss him goodnight and took his drink so he wouldn't wet the bed, but after he did that, Peyton kept crying out "Juice, Juice" so I snuck one into his crib with milk and changed him early in the morning. Thats a mothers love! His Juice is comforting to him when he has it. He is so cute and growing so fast. Too fast!!! Slow down, I want him to stay a baby forever. I love him!!!

Here is pictures from Princess Bailey's party. It was so much fun and I was so suprised of all the poeple who came to share her special day with her. She didnt want to where her dress at first but once I put it on her she loved it, then she also didnt want anything to do with her presents, then once I opened a few for her, she realized it was toys and stuff for her. She went through all the presents, she would throw the clothes and love the toys. She was so cute!!! Now I have to plan for a boy party for October for Peyton. Any ideas??? Please let me know!!!

Bailey's 3 Yrs Old

My little angel is growing up so fast. Today she is 3 yrs old, and tomorrow we are having a princess party for her. She is so excited, we have been telling her that she gets to open presents and play games with some of her friends who are coming over. I think I am more excited that she is, its like the party I have always wanted. Hee hee. I went to Burger King and asked for 20 of there crowns and I am going to let the kids put stickers and color all they want on them, then we are going to play "Pass the poison apple" which is like musical chairs but pricess themed. Also we will play pin the glass slipper on Cinderella's foot, and have a scanenger hunt in the back yard. The party is in our front yard. I am also making star shaped rice crispy treats with cabob sticks to make them into magic wands with foam Tiaras for the girls and cupcakes with grey frosting and sword toothpics for "the sword in the stone" for the boys and they also get foam Pirate hats (I dont know my mom bought the hats so I just thought I would use them). I am so stinking excited. I will definately be posting pictures when its done. Also Bailey is going to be a gorgious pricess. We are taking her to Target tonight and buying her a gown of her choice and then I am planning on dolling her up with her hair and make up tomorrow. She is my barbie doll cant you tell!!!
