Still working on the poker table

Here is some more pics of the poker table thats a work in progress. Boys are silly cause they get frustrated and stop working on it, thats what happened here. Its still not done yet.

I'm loving these signs I made...

I finally got a new job!!!

So last Friday I was called by a company called MedEx (medical billing co) and went in for an interview. Then they called me late Monday to get a 2nd interview for Tuesday (yesturday). So I went in yesturday and the interview went great! Then they said that they wanted to get back to me "real soon" to let me know. Well and hour later I get a phone call telling me that I got the job and when can I start. Well I told them I could start today. I went in today and it was great being at work again. I love it. I love the people and the work. I am sad to leave my kids after being with them for 6 months, but this will help our family out a lot. I am just so glad that it is something that I am familiar with from my first job at Unique Healthcare and my second job at the Hospital. Its so awsome!!! And I have to thank my old friend from OB Dept at Gould, Jenn Lea for getting me the job. Thanks so much Jenn!!!

The Poker Table

Since me and Chuck have been married, we have always loved Texas Holdem Poker. We once had a poker table top but through all the moves we have had, it got ruined. Well Chuck and his friend Doug have been putting ideas together and started making one together. They are going to make it Giants themed. But they have had some great ideas. So here's what you are seeing... its an oval shape (which eventually will be covered in orange felt with a giants logo in the center)and if your wandering what the pool noodle is doing there, well, its going to be covered in black material and made into a bumper to go all around the table. They have ordered cup holders to go inside the table as well. I will keep you all posted on what they do next.

So here are some pics from Monday. We took Peyton, and even though the Giants had a bad game, we still had a great time. I am sorry about the pics being sideways. I took the pics with my phone cause I forgot to bring my camera.

Bow Crazy

All the bows I made today

Bailey modeling her bows for me

Strike a pose

I made these bow to go with her Dora dress that she is wearing for her birthday on Saturday

The other bow

A closer look at some of the bows

I love making these they are so easy and so much fun

So lately I have been playing with ribbon from the dollar section at Target and making bows for Bailey's hair. And today I went to Sally's Beauty Supply and bought the hair clips to attach the bows to. So I never have to buy any more bows for Bailey. Yeah!!! I can just make them.

More Ladybugs

I had already started painting and forgot to take a "Before" Picture. So what was painted black was actually a pastell pink.

Here's during... I know I'm messy.

And after on one...

After on the other...

And after both together. Pretty cute huh?

Okay so my mom took me and my family out to dinner on Tuesday and then took me, my kids and my sister and her fam to Stockton to go to the Home Goods store cause I had never been there. I really liked it cause I love all those types of stores like TJ Max and Ross, they always have the best CRAP!!! Well while I was there I was looking at the clearance items and found these book ends with pink lady bugs on them. They were marked down from $7.00 to $3.00 cause they were loose. So I thought I would buy them and repaint them and glue them and they will be as good as new. And they turned out great.
